very red lentil soup

This soup is on the table in 35 minutes. I boiled together 3/4 cup lentils, 2 cups water, can of tomatoes, bag of baby carrots, last of the fresh cilantro, cumin, margarine, beef bouillon, onion powder, celery seed...for 30 minutes. Lentils are tender and carrots cooked through and through. Most of liquids absorbed. I'm adding a splash of soy sauce to my bowlful.
