I see you have family visiting, my only child, Ken and his family will be here on the 17th. Every February school vacation they come to Florida and we rent a house to stay together. I love it.

    Enjoy your company.

Thanks for the comments on my blog. How tragic to lose children to imunizable diseases.

Just stay with it. I've been here 11 yrs. and if I hadn't stayed, I'd be about 314# by now. There is a new "Motivator of the Day" each day, and you can find that up at the top of the page where it says COMMUNITY. Just click on it and come down to Spark Pages, click and over on the right is MoD. I always look and even if it has been a long time, I leave a message since sometimes, they then decide they need to come back again. NOW is all that matters as Eckhart Tolle teaches us. emoticon

PS - I LOVE red high heels - can't wait to sport those when I'm about 40 pounds down. Woo Hoo!

Well, SugarBaby, I have to admit I am a bit jealous. I live in Virginia and it is 20 degrees here, with the wind chill quite a bit lower. I know it's not Michigan weather, but still pretty cold for us. Brrrrr! Happy to hear that you are healing well. I too have arthritis in my thumb joints, and it is steadily getting worse. Cold weather seems to make it more painful, but I haven't explored surgical options yet - though I am sure that's in my future. I'd be interested to hear any advice on managing the pain in healthy, natural ways if you know of any. I hate having to take a lot of chemicals with additives, so I am looking for simpler, cleaner pain relief. Do you mind sharing what you have tried? Great to hear from you and congrats on your progress - looks like you are doing all the right things!
