I'm 75. another years has gone by, so now I am 75,and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on oxygen at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a farmers wife and engaged in as much of the farm as I can, and understand. We do have some livestock, sheep, 8 miniatures horses, and goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

That’s one end of my living room. I just have to leave the books alone and fend off the cats from my chair. The chocolate is safe. When it’s that dark, one piece satisfies.

Sorry about Finn. I always hope they go easy. I’m glad you’ve got the young pair to keep you entertained. My daughter has a cat as old as mine, and he’s doing about the same. She says he’s working off all the bad karma from picking on her other cat when he was younger! I’m going to post a pic of my home work space. So far, knock on wood, it’s all going well. Many of my callers need to talk. Answering their work concerns and then listening is a small way I can help.

Thanks for the hat love. I thought I would have time to work on it while doing laundry but other things have intervened.

Yeah, man logic and woman logic often fail to connect. She you’ve been married awhile, it becomes a standing joke! What would I do with a man lacking a sense of humor?? You have it right, gotta love ‘em.
