I'm 73. another years has gone by, so now I am 74,and I have decided that I am not going to focus on losing weight as much as I am going to improve my eating habits. I have asthma and am on oxygen at night and can't walk long distances, I have had 3 surgeries on my left shoulder and now have a frozen shoulder, so that shoulders makes it difficult to do a lot of kind of exercises, so I do what I can, and if I lose a couple pounds that is a bonus, not a requirement.

I am a farmers wife and engaged in as much of the farm as I can, and understand. We do have some livestock, sheep, 8 miniatures horses, and goats and right now we share the chores, me in the morning and hubby in the evening, but once field works start the chores are all my baby, and I do enjoy them.

I really don't have any big expectations, cause I am not one that likes setting goals. I just want to be as healthy as I can and enjoy life, and it doesn't mean spending hours and hours walking, running, working out in a smelly germ infested gym, I work hard on the farm and that has been the way it has been for many centuries, in my family, so I think it is good enough for me.
Honest work, and knowing I should not eat as much as I do, but it is all natural food, that means I don't eat boxed or store canned food unless it is unavoidable. If you read labels, some dogs and cats eat better than some do. If I can't pronounce it, I don't eat it.
So that said I have no goals, just honest living, and no beating myself up if I have a piece of pie.

Yes, Daisy is absolutely the best. She is such a good little dog - and IF she ever does something I'm not happy about (like bark at the person coming to the door) I tell her to go to her house - and in the kennel she goes! She minds better than any of my kids did!

Thanks for checking on me. Itโ€™s been nice to have a little time in the morning and not feel stressed to get the eleventy-seven things done on SP. I still login a few times a week, but usually just to put in my meals. I see you on Facebook sometimes.

Oh Linda, I am so jealous. Cattle drives - how I would love to do that. My whole life all I ever really wanted was a horse - but I guess at this point I'll have to settle for little Daisy! I can't ride her but I'll bet if I put on roller blades, she'd pull me along! emoticon
