CHOOSING Health is to Take the High Road~(read on)

ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS: That is the diagnosis given me when I was 28 years old! Was told by an Orthopedist that I would be crippled and in a wheel chair permanently in my forties and be disabled. I refused to accept that 'dooms day' sentence ..... After defying the crippling effects this brings, with my spine completely fused , I went through unbelievable pain and still have stiffness but ..... many years later, I continue working in health care full time, have centered my life around fitness and exercise and beat all odds!~A rheumatologist who treated me remarked, " whatever you are doing keep it up" ...(swimming and lots of walking) plus most of all, I am a believer.... And my faith in the Lord Jesus Christ has brought me through much peril into a place of victory and fulfillment..

OH it was gut wrenching to see that accident on the news. Makes me kinda upset, though, because they kept showing the same footage over and over and over again. I think we got the ‘picture’ the first time ‘round that it was horrible!

My dear, I am GLAD you posted those pictures. Honestly, that is something I struggled with mightily . . . seeing myself in a positive light. I think the pictures are FABULOUS!! Well, I think cameras do add at least 5 lbs. LOL

OHhhhhh, so I inspired you to try the Hollandaise w/fish. That definitely would be amazing on Scallops. For sure. LOVE scallops.

Well, our sun peeked out, the back 40 acres needs to be mowed, so better get at it while I can!

Well, I am very grateful that Jas worked from home yesterday (and he is today, as well.) There was a terrible accident on the freeway he travels. A truck exploded and caused a massive fire. Last I heard there was a 3-4 hr. delay. And unfortunately at least 2 fatalities. Lord, my prayers are with the families of those who perished. And gratitude for the 1st responders!

We had our date breakfast today as we’ll be busy the weekend. That will be nice.

Then preparing for our little trip. Looking forward to a change of scenery.

    Have a thankful Thursday.

Well, the sun was out yesterday, even though it was hazy sunshine. I’ll take it.

Has had a bit of a schedule change so he is going to be working from home today and tomorrow (yeah me!). He has a meeting he has to attend on Friday, so glad he gets to work from home today and tomorrow.

I am getting the laundry done, got the kitchen cleaned and heading outdoors, if weather permits, to do a bit more yard work. Oops! NO yard work today. Raining.

Oh girl, that hollandaise is fabulous! Jas is requesting Eggs Benedict for breakfast on Sunday. Who am I to refuse, right! LOL Thank you!!! emoticon

HUGS and have a wonderful Wednesday.
